- SARAH &SIMON 9.04.10 [St Bede's & The Elephant on the Tyne]

The next wedding of the year was for Sarah and Simon. A Geordie Macham match made in heaven!!! Sarah left from her parents house in Washington, and arrived at St Bede's in glorious sunshine to be greeted by a full church and of course a very calm Simon! After a full Catholic nuptial mass attended by seven priests and two deacons and a choir made up of close friends, celebrations caried on at The Elephant on the Tyne. The reception room looked fantastic and the staff did a superb job transforming the room looking onto the Tyne into a fairytale wedding complete with soft light, exuberant table decorations and not forgetting elf favors and table names of Saints!!! Awesome!!.... After the meal and speeches more photos were taken at the quay side's Millennium Bridge and some other shots at not too conventional locations, including a abandoned road side ruin and a boat yard. Look out for photos in the wedding display section of site. The day came to a close [for us that is!] with evening guests arriving and the first dance enjoyed by all the family.

- LYNDSEY & DARREN 13.3.2010 [St Andrews & Bannatyne Hotel]

This years first wedding kicked off with Lyndsey and Darren's on the 13th March. It was a fantastic day with preparations starting at Redworth hall Hotel. The ceremony was held at St Andrews church in Aycliffe village followed by a beautiful reception at Bannatyne Hotel, Darlington. There was even time for a stroll in Darlington's Grange Road before the meal and speeches. Lanterns were released on the evening followed by music from a live band to accompany the fist dance.
